چکیده
In the current study, reaction behavior between bottom blowing CO2 and molten steel at different converter stages was studied by thermodynamic calculation. At initial stage, reacts with [C] before turning point then [Si] simultaneously after that. completely twice volume of CO generates middle stage. The ratio gradually decreases final stage due to reacting [Fe] residual unreacted increases. Then effect gas type intensity on [C]·[O] value T.Fe content in slag were industrial trials a 300 t converter. When Ar is blown partial pressure increasing intensity, while opposite result obtained when CO2. into should be switched Ar, time controlled early 12 minutes avoid slag. order improve rate [C], it necessary for during high-speed decarburization period 0.7 mass% 3.3 5 minutes.

Research on the Molten Bath of EBT Area with Bottom-Blowing in EAF Steelmaking Process
Bottom-blowing, as widely adopted in electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking technology, stir the molten bath by blowing inert gas (Ar, N2) from the bottom of EAF to promote fluid flow and uneven metallurgical reaction in the molten bath. However, for eccentric structure design of electric arc furnace, the problem still exists in EBT(Eccentric Bottom Tapping)area. In this study, by the analysis ...

THE REACTION between liquid zinc and steel, such as occurs during hot-dip galvanizing, shows some unusual kinetic features which as yet have not found a completely satisfactory explanation. The upon recent results from the in our laboratory. متن کاملRemoval of MnS inclusions in molten steel using electropulsing
A method using electropulsing to separate inclusions from molten steel is developed, based on the differences in electrical properties between the inclusions and liquid metal. The inclusions have different electrical resistivity from that of the liquid steel and hence being expelled to the surface of the metal by electropulsing. In comparison with the as-solidified untreated steel, the size of ...
متن کاملIN SITU REFRACTORIES USED IN THE CONTAINMENT OF MOLTEN IRON AND STEEL STRATEGIES FOR THEIR DEVELOPMENT
In situ refractories are defined as brick or unshaped products, which react internally or with furnace atmospheres and/or slag components so as to be enhanced in their performance. Examples of such products are discussed with emphasis on those that are currently employed and are being developed for the melting of iron and steel. Some strategies for the development of future in situ products are...
